MISTERY BOX

Pollution, a typical problem of the most industrialised countries, today involves the whole planet. It is a phenomenon that threatens man and nature.

With my project I wanted to show what is hidden inside the public waste bins of Milan, trying to reflect on the miscellany of elements and obsessions of the environment theme, however reported in the little things, in the small gestures.

We’re not used to look into public waste bins we just throw away the rubbish we have at hand. The biggest obstacle is people’s education, if we all committed ourselves to our little one with very simple actions, we could improve the culture and education of the next generations.

​

Adequate waste differentiation could be obtained with common collection points, where separate collection is thus accessible and usable even outside our homes.

​

We must always remember that the planet is not ours, we are just guests, passing through.
