VITA IN STAZIONE

I have been traveling by train every day for more then 6 years, always for school reasons. Through these years of experience I have learned that each station is different in its own way. Some are larger, some smaller, some with important sections, others with up to three sections, some very populated, others almost deserted. It is precisely this diversity that prompted me to want to document, with this report, the Lambrate station, with some important sections.

Located in the Lambrate district of Milan, it inherits its name from the old Lambrate station, located in the Ortica area and closed in 1931 following the reorganization of the Milan railway junction. In 1969 it became the second railway station in Milan, after Milano Cadorna, to have an interconnection with the subway. The railway station consists of twelve tracks, making it the fourth largest station in Milan after Milano Centrale, Milano Porta Garibaldi and Milano Rogoredo.
