PANIFICIO MONICO

I decided I wanted to document the work of the Monico’s family, a job they have been carrying out for 158 years as far as is known from the various documents. Work they carry out with passion, experience and professionalism. A work structured by the different environments in which they work with also a historical testimony.

The family bakery has a long history. The one documented by the “papers” begins in 1865 with Bernardo Monico founder of the bakery and and great-grandfather of Massimo, who passed this passion and activity on to his descendants, Carlo born in 1852 and great-grandfather of Massimo, Battista Bernardo called Bernardìn born in 1886 and grandfather of Massimo, Giovanni Battista known as Nino born in 1922 and father of Massimo and now to Massimo current owner of the bakery born in 1965 and Matteo born in 2002, son of Massimo and his collaborator. But it is very probable that some of Massimo’s ancestors already worked on the “Forni” before

.

The values that inspire the Monico Bakery are represented by a quality artisan offer, which respects the tradition without forgetting the reality, from the genuineness of the products and from the joint cordiality to the hospitality, typical of the casalini. Over the years the Bakery has also specialised in the sector of the pastry shop. The most original thing is that each holiday of the year has associated a pastry or dessert.
